Love blooms where you least expect it.
Chicago wedding florist Daphne Lovell has no trouble producing perfect happily-ever-afters for her clients. But figuring out her own love life isn't as easy...because she's head-over-heels for her off-limits best friend.
Revealing her secret crush on British expat Gibson Moore isn't an option. Until fate steps in, darkening a ballroom and giving her the opportunity to steal a passionate kiss from the hunky hotel manager who unknowingly holds her heart.
Too bad that when the lights flick back on, the oblivious playboy searches the room for the lips that just claimed his—never bothering to look at the friend standing right next to him!
Daphne still can't confess her feelings for her bed-hopping best friend. Crossing the line from friends to lovers could ruin everything. Until an accidental second kiss reveals the truth to Gib. They both know that the smart thing would be to forget it ever happened. But some kisses are so spectacular they change everything...
Loved the story of Daphne and Gib. Lovely friendship turned to love! Funny, loving, wonderful friends, sexy without being vulgar. Loved it and highly recommend !55
I am a sucker for Romance stories and this one definitely pulled on my heart strings. I definitely recommend this read!55
Great friends to lover story with fantastic friends to boot. Definitely inaccurate on getting a visa by getting married. You would want to do a fiancé visa first for less (but not zero) scrutiny. Likely the guy would need to go back to England and wait until paperwork was filed and approved and it can take YEARS to deal with that. Getting married first is highly suspicious. It would not save the day in this scenario. BUT otherwise this was a very enjoyable read and I love the characters!45
Captured me from page one. Characters full of strength to draw the reader in and hold them to a end that touches the heart strings of love and happy ever after. Definitely a reread pending…thank you for sharing your writing talent with the world and me (of course) awesome time spent traveling thru this this read…55
Characters immature. Storyline corny. Halfway through chapter 5, I’d reach a point where I just couldn’t read one more page of this never ending book15
Such a sweet read Strong lead characters And of course a nice ending55
Very good reading45
