Tragedy stole everything from him … except her …
Three years ago, an illness orphaned Henry and Caroline Sullivan. The harsh years at the orphanage have forged a strong bond between the pair.
But Henry's about to age out.
He must choose whether to leave his only family behind in relative safety, or take her with him as he pursues dreams of owning a farm. Henry trusts that God has a plan for him, but little does he know that others have plans for him and his younger sister as well. He will need all his faith to find the right path.
Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
Very good message. Some of the writing is too choppy in some places. I know they are young but I would guess their sentence structure would develop as they age.45
Author: Faith Blum What a wonderful Christian story it starts out a bit sad but blossoms into a great story. Shows what to West was like for kids who lost every thing and then found a family, love and happiness while trusting in God. Read to follow Henry and some of the people in his life.55
Wish there were more books like this one. Faith is what took the characters through tragedy and unfortunately circumstances. Thankful that a loving Christian family was willing to take in so many orphans. Love reading book with caring families and strong moral values and a happy ending.55
